WO II R S Simpson VC British Armed Medals- Victoria Cross. Uppermost prize for Courage Rayene Stewart Simpson was natural on the 16th of February, 1926, the third youngster of Robert William and Olga Maude Simpson of Redfern, Sydney, Australia. His mother deserted the family in 1931. Stewart was located in the Minster of England Home for Boys. On 11 May 1969, in the same operation, Warrant Official Simpson's Division Leader was killed and an Australian Warrant Official and numerous indigenous soldiers were wounded. In addition, one other Australian Warrant Official who had been separated from the bulk of his troops was limited in the region by opponent fire.Warrant Official Simpson rapidly prepared two platoons of indigenous soldiers and numerous advisers and led them to the place of the contact.
